‘Grow Your Community’ - Older People’s Care and Support Forum

Since October 2011 Broadland District Council has been holding ‘Grow Your Community’ events – the overall aim has been to explore how we can improve older people care in the Aylsham district.
I am pleased to now invite you to the third event – the Older People’s Care and Support forum. The forum was proposed as a top priority from both the Celebrating Age Fair and the ‘World Café’ Workshop. At this forum event you will be able to:
• meet and network with commissioning agencies, statutory service providers and the local community
• meet and network with voluntary agencies that exist to meet, or which could meet, current and future needs
• hear about the proposals which came out of the earlier events
• hear about the initiatives being taken forward now
• be involved in developing activities and services for the future
• be involved in setting up the forum event on an ongoing basis.
